Mandi’s doula care is not only practical, but also emotionally and spiritually uplifting. She made a massive contribution to our positive birth experience. I felt empowered and supported in the lead-up to my labor and was able to advocate for myself in ways I don’t think I would have if I had not been working with Mandi. After my son was born, Mandi provided stellar post-partum care and gave my little family an easier start in this new phase of life. She cooked nutritious meals, cared for the baby, and cleaned the kitchen (all while my husband and I napped!) I would highly recommend her to any of my expecting friends.

“Mandi was everything I hoped a doula was going to be and so, so much more! Mandi has such a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our baby came 2 weeks early and it was a huge surprise to us because doctors told us I probably would go over 40 weeks. My water broke in the morning and I went to the hospital right away. Unfortunately, I wasn't dilated enough so they sent me back home. I called Mandi right away and she always remained calm and confident. She came to my home within 45 mins and helped me through 10 hours of contractions at home. We found different methods to cope with contractions and she helped relax me once they passed by changing things up a lot and adjusting to my needs. She allowed my husband to rest and was in direct contact with my doctor while I was in extreme pain. She knew how to manage things from the start and was our advocate at the hospital. She helped coach me and my husband during the whole birth process and 24 hours later we welcomed our beautiful daughter.
Mandi came to visit our place postpartum to check on us and discuss our birth story. She filled us in on details that we simply forgot. We discussed the mental/physical adjustment of having a newborn and with her advice, I was also able to receive referrals for lactation nurses.
I really could go on and on about how amazing Mandi is. She was always accessible via text or phone call. For first time parents who don't know much of what to expect, Mandi saved us! I felt like she was our advocate and had our best interest at heart during the birth. We both feel like it was the best money we have spent! And it was so incredibly helpful to have her to ask questions and advice before, during and after. Me, my husband and our daughter are so grateful for her and if I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!”
